You don't need a 40-hour course to get good at Claude. Three free videos take you from your first conversation to your first website: 94 minutes in total, watched in this order.
This guide gives you the three links, the chapters that matter in each video, and a prompt to run right after each one. A video you watch without building anything fades fast, so keep a real task at hand while you watch.
The Claude AI Lab is my Skool community where I share my Claude systems and the more advanced modules. Access is $67/month.
Join the Lab →Video 1: from your first conversation to your assistant
Watch it here: FULL Claude Tutorial for Beginners in 2026!, by AI Foundations (49 min).
It walks through every Claude feature, from basic prompts to connected tools. If you already use Claude every day, start right at 21:39: that's where everything changes.
Paste this prompt into Claude, and it writes the profile with you:
Ask me questions, one at a time, to write my Claude custom instructions. Cover five sections:
1. Identity: who I am and what I do
2. Communication style: how you should talk to me
3. Goals and priorities: what I'm working on right now
4. Daily schedule and non-negotiables
5. Avoidances: what I never want to see in your responses
At the end, give me the full text, ready to paste into my settings.
Video 2: automate a task with Skills
Watch it here: How to build Claude Skills Better than 99% of People, by Ben AI (19 min).
A Skill turns a task you repeat into a written method Claude applies on its own. This video shows you how to build one that holds up over time, and it also applies to the other agents that have adopted Skills.
Take your task and fill in this prompt:
Create a Skill for [TASK I REPEAT].
Name and trigger: [NAME], to use whenever I ask for [TYPICAL REQUEST].
Goal: [EXPECTED RESULT, IN ONE SENTENCE].
Tools to use: [CONNECTORS OR SOFTWARE].
Steps: [STEP 1], [STEP 2], [STEP 3]. Stop and ask for my approval before [SENSITIVE STEP].
Context to read: [MY BUSINESS, MY AUDIENCE, MY VOICE].
Example of a good result: [PASTE AN EXAMPLE].
Video 3: your first website with Claude Code
Watch it here: The EASY way to build a beautiful website with Claude Code (full workflow), by Create a Pro Website (26 min).
Now you put it all into practice: a full website, end to end, in a few prompts, without writing code. It comes last because it builds on the Skills you just learned.
The last sentence of this prompt matters the most: Claude asks for what it's missing instead of guessing.
Build me a website for [COMPANY] in [CITY].
Use this reference image as inspiration, with my colors, my logo and my content.
I want these sections: [SECTIONS].
Ask me any questions you need before you start.
After the three videos
The end of video 1 (47:26) sums up how it all fits together. Each layer builds on the one before:
Start with one task that touches your clients: a proposal, a follow-up, your homepage. Run it through all three layers, measure the time you save, then move on to the next one.
