Agent Reach: the spy that scrapes 13 platforms for your AI
Your AI can code, but the moment you ask it to go fetch something on the web, it's blind. Agent Reach opens 13 platforms (Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, full-web search...) with one command. Free, open-source. Your monitoring and spying agent.

Your AI writes your code, fixes your docs, manages your projects. But the day you ask it to "go see what people say about this product on Twitter" or "find me the struggles people post on Reddit in my niche," it's blind. No access. The Twitter API costs money, Reddit returns a 403, YouTube won't hand over subtitles, web pages come back as a soup of HTML tags.
The problem is not your agent's intelligence. It's that it lacks eyes and ears. Every platform has its barrier: an API to pay for, a block to bypass, an account to connect. You can spend a whole day just wiring up access to Twitter.
Agent Reach turns all of that into a single sentence you paste to your agent. It's an open-source, free tool, ranked #1 of the day on Trendshift. It installs, configures and maintains access to 13 platforms for your AI. Once it's set up, you ask in plain language and your agent goes and fetches the info on its own. It's your monitoring and spying agent.

An AI agent with no web access is a brain in a jar. It reasons beautifully, but it can't go check anything outside. Agent Reach is not yet another scraping tool: it's a capability layer that sits on top of the best existing tools, picks the most stable one for each platform, installs it and keeps an eye on it.
The clever part: each platform has a "preferred + fallback" access path. If one method breaks (a site tightens its anti-bot), Agent Reach switches to the next one without you doing a thing.
The 13 platforms you unlock
Here is what your agent can read once Agent Reach is installed. For your personal brand, the first eight are the ones that really matter.
The other five platforms are mostly relevant to a Chinese market: Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, V2EX, Xueqiu (stocks) and the Xiaoyuzhou podcast (audio transcription included). Good to know if you want to spy on what's happening in Asia, skippable otherwise.
Install it with one command
No config file to fill in. You paste this sentence to your agent (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.):
Install Agent Reach: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Panniantong/agent-reach/main/docs/install.md
The agent does everything on its own: it installs the CLI, the needed system pieces, configures web search, detects your environment and registers an internal manual. From then on, whenever you ask "search Twitter," "summarize this video" or "go check Reddit," it knows which tool to call.
By default, six zero-config channels are activated right away. The platforms that need a login (Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn) unlock by simply saying "help me configure X." To check the status of everything: agent-reach doctor.
Free, but use it smart
Agent Reach is 100% free (all tools are open-source, no paid API key). The only possible cost is a server proxy at around one dollar a month, and only if you deploy on a server. Locally, zero.
On the security side, your login cookies stay stored on your machine only, never uploaded, and the code is fully auditable. Only one real point of caution:
--safe or --dry-run: the agent tells you what it's going to do without changing anything on your machine. Ideal for looking before you commit.3 ways to make it your secret weapon
You've got the tool. Here is concretely how it moves your personal brand forward, if you create content and want to go faster without spreading yourself thin.
