Most people throw three sentences at Claude ("I have 50k to invest, what do I do?") and accept whatever comes back. It makes sense: the model knows neither your real capital, nor your horizon, nor the risk you actually accept. It answers everyone the same way.

A useful investment strategy does not come from a question, it comes from an agent that interviews you first.

The trick: a dedicated Claude Project that puts you through a real interview before generating anything, then hands you a custom interactive HTML tool (capital deployment plan, strategy archetypes, 12-month projection). About 7 minutes, once.

What you need
1
Claude Pro minimum. The Projects feature is paid plans only.
2
Your investor profile. Available capital, monthly capacity, horizon, main objective, risk appetite.
3
Five minutes and the willingness to answer the questions honestly.
1

Create the dedicated Project

📁 claude.ai, Projects
📁In Claude
4
Open Claude and go to Projects in the sidebar.
5
Click New Project, name it "Investment strategy agent", and add a one-line description (e.g. "Personalized investment strategy for a long-term investor").
Why a Project
Every new chat inside the Project inherits the context you give it once. Your agent lives at the top of your sidebar, ready to run again. (Projects is available on Claude Pro and above.)
2

Give your context

🧩 a new chat inside the Project

Open a new chat inside your Project, paste this template, replace each bracketed field with your real situation, and send.

I am [age] years old, [nationality] nationality, and I live in [country].
Capital available today: [amount].
Monthly investment capacity: about [amount per month].
My main objective: [long-term capital appreciation / rental income / a mix of both].
My risk appetite: [high, comfortable with leverage and construction risk / low, I prefer ready-to-use properties only].
Precision equals quality
Vague inputs produce vague strategies. If you are unsure about a number, give a range and tell Claude which end is realistic.

Let Claude interview you

🎤 do not rush it

Claude will read your profile and ask clarifying questions: existing property exposure, how liquid your capital really is, whether your monthly contribution is net of taxes, your target portfolio size. Treat these questions as the strategy itself.

🎯
Be precise
Ranges are fine, as long as you say which end is realistic.
🚩
Flag your constraints
Visa status, tax residence, partially locked capital: anything Claude cannot guess.
🤝
When in doubt
Say "propose a reasonable default and flag it". Claude will.
Do not cut it short
If Claude says it has enough context, ask whether there are 3 more useful questions to ask. There almost always are.

Generate your strategy tool

⚙️ one prompt, one tool

Once Claude has correctly summarized your context, send the master prompt. You are not asking for a written strategy, you are asking for a standalone interactive HTML tool.

Generate an interactive investment strategy tool as a standalone HTML file. The tool has two parts: a form and a generated result.

FORM (four sections):
1. About you: name, age, nationality, employment status, residence status (selector: Resident / Non-resident / Planning to move), and a free-text field for goals and context.
2. Capital and capacity: capital available today, monthly investment capacity, properties already owned, existing debt.
3. Goals and strategy: target portfolio value, horizon in years, main objective (Appreciation / Rental income / Balanced), risk appetite (Conservative / Moderate / Aggressive), strategy preference (Off-plan / Ready-to-move / Mixed).
4. Market assumptions: six sliders fully controlled by the user (annual capital appreciation %, gross rental yield %, off-plan handover gain %, mortgage rate %, reservation deposit %, transaction fees %). Do not hardcode any market data.

The "Generate my strategy" button calculates and displays: a banner of 4 stat cards, a 3-phase roadmap with dynamic text, and a year-by-year projection table.

Design: cream background, serif headings, clean body, monospace for data, a single burgundy accent. Clean and readable.
What you get
A custom tool, tied to your capital and profile, that you can reopen and adjust by changing your assumptions. Not a frozen document, a simulator.

Pro tips

🔄
Start a fresh chat
After a few dozen messages, Claude loses the early details. As soon as the strategy stops matching your profile, open a new chat inside the same Project.
🔍
Verify the market details
Claude has no live feed of prices, launches, or neighborhoods. Every name it cites is a starting point to verify, not a fact.
⏭️
Never skip the interview
Ask for the strategy before the interview and you get the generic plan everyone gets. The interview is 80% of the value.
⚖️
Compare across passes
The prompt outputs one coherent strategy at a time. To compare two approaches, run it again changing one parameter (risk, horizon).
The secret is not the prompt, it is the interview you agree to go through first.
