📚From Claude's directory

Open Customize, then Connectors. It's in Claude's left sidebar.

Search for the tool, click Connect, approve access. Connectors marked "Anthropic verified" have been checked by Anthropic.

🔗With an MCP server address

Customize, Connectors, then "+ Add" and "Add custom connector". Give the connector a name.

Paste the server address, click Continue, then sign in to the service. This is the route for any tool missing from the directory.

Good to know

Each connector is independent: adding one doesn't touch any other. On the free plan you get a single custom connector, so pick it carefully.

🤫 Blender, Sandcastles, Zoom, ChatGPT

To install all four at once, paste this message into Claude. It walks you through one connector at a time.

I want to connect four tools to Claude: Blender, Sandcastles, Zoom and ChatGPT. Walk me through them one at a time, in that order. For each one, tell me exactly where to click and wait for me to reply "done" before moving on. If something gets stuck, help me fix it before we continue. 🧊Blender: a 3D model from one sentence

What it does. You describe an object and Claude builds it in Blender, piece by piece. Handy for a product mockup or a presentation visual.

Requirements. The Claude desktop app and Blender 5.1 or later, free at blender.org.

The connector. Add "Blender" from the directory, published by Blender Lab.

The add-on. Follow lab.blender.org/mcp-server: you drag the install link into Blender twice, once to add the repository, once to install the add-on.

In Blender, build a low-poly shop display: a wooden table, three product boxes in different sizes and a warm spotlight. Go step by step and tell me what you're adding.

📈Sandcastles: what's blowing up in your niche

What it does. Claude analyzes the short videos performing in your niche and tells you what to post next, with the numbers to back it up.

Requirements. Sandcastles' Pro plan (49 USD a month, or 39 USD a month billed yearly), which includes the connector.

The connector. Add it as a custom connector with the address https://mcp.sandcastles.ai/

Using Sandcastles, show me what's working right now in [YOUR NICHE]. Find the best-performing videos from the last 30 days, tell me what their hooks and formats have in common, then give me 5 video ideas to post next.

🎥Zoom: everything said in your meetings

What it does. The "Zoom for Claude" connector, published by Zoom, searches your meetings, reads summaries and transcripts, and pulls out the next steps.

The connector. Add it from the directory and sign in to Zoom.

Go through my Zoom meetings from the last 30 days. List every action item I owe, to whom and by when. Then tell me anything important that was said and that I may have forgotten.

🤝ChatGPT: two AIs on the same question

No official connector. An open-source server, mcp-openai (github.com/mzxrai/mcp-openai), lets Claude query OpenAI's models with your API key. Two limits: it hasn't been updated since December 2024, and it only offers older models (gpt-4o and o1).

Requirements. The Claude desktop app, Node.js 18 or later, and an OpenAI API key, billed by OpenAI separately from your ChatGPT subscription.

The install. Add the block below to the Claude Desktop config file (claude_desktop_config.json), with your key in place of the text, then restart Claude.

The formula for a good prompt

Name the tool, the data you want, the format of the answer and what Claude should do with it. "Compare this month's Stripe revenue with last month" works better than "how are my sales doing".

Blender runs AI-generated code with no safeguards. Blender Lab recommends a machine with no sensitive data, or a virtual machine.

On your ads and payments, Claude suggests and you approve. End every action prompt with "don't change anything until I approve".
